The purpose of this study was to investigate psychological symptoms in people with paraphilic disorders and normal people. Population of this study consists of all the patients with paraphilic disorders refered to psychiatric and psychological centers and have normal participants of Isfahan city. 7 participant with paraphilic disorders and 7 normal people were selected voluntarly. The participants completed paraphilia scales questionnaire and SCL-90-R. Data have analyzed using U-Man withny test. Results showed that there are significant differences in psychological symptoms (somatization, obsessive-compulsive, interpersonal sensitivity, depression, anxiety, hostility, phobic anxiety, paranoid thoughts and psychotism) between participants with paraphilic disorders and participants of normal. The presentation of teaching coping strategies to patients and treatment of comorbid mental disorders, in order to control and cure of paraphilic disorders are recommended.
